Welcome to BaguioVisit. By using our website, mobile-friendly app at baguiovisit.com, or related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. About the Service
BaguioVisit is a tourism platform for Baguio City, Philippines. We help tourists discover attractions, build trip itineraries, book paid activities, get audio guides, find verified vendors, and report live crowd levels. We partner with attractions, hotels, restaurants, and vendors who list their offerings on the platform.
We are an intermediary. The actual experience, accommodation, food, or service is provided by the partner business. They set their own prices, capacity, and policies.
2. Account requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must use a real, working email address that you control.
- You must not create multiple accounts for the purpose of fraud, evading rate limits, or impersonating others.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure (your magic-link emails, your Google account).
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deletion is permanent.
3. Bookings
When you book an attraction or experience through BaguioVisit:
- We hold capacity for you for 8 minutes from the moment you start checkout. If you don’t complete payment within that window, the slot is released to other users.
- Successful payment generates a booking reference and a QR code. Show the QR at the attraction’s entry to redeem your slot.
- The price you see at checkout is what we charge. We add a 5% service fee on top of the partner’s price; this is shown in the cart breakdown.
- Cancellation, refund, and reschedule policies are set by the partner business and shown on the attraction page before booking. Some partners are non-refundable; some allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before the visit. Read each policy before you book.
- No-shows are governed by the partner’s policy. Generally, no-shows are non-refundable.
- Time slots are local time (Philippines, UTC+8). Be on time — partners may not honor late arrivals.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by PayMongo. Accepted methods include GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and bank transfer. We do NOT store your payment card numbers; PayMongo handles those.
Refunds, when due, are returned via the same method you paid with. Refund processing time depends on PayMongo’s schedule and your bank or wallet provider; typically 3-7 business days.
Currency is Philippine Pesos (PHP). All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. User conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm other users, partner businesses, or our team.
- Submit false crowd reports, fake reviews, or misleading information about attractions or vendors.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or authentication mechanisms.
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce attraction listings, photos, or vendor information for unauthorized use (some content is licensed under specific terms; see our partner agreements).
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code beyond what is provided.
- Use the Service in ways that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our systems.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Crowd reports and reviews
If you submit a crowd report or review, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use the content in connection with the Service. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms. Your reports and reviews are visible to other users.
7. Service availability
We are an early-stage service. We do our best to keep the Service available 24/7 but provide no formal uptime guarantee. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages can happen. We aim to communicate disruptions on our home page when they affect bookings.
We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may change or end partnerships with attraction operators. The list of attractions and experiences will evolve.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all information is accurate (attraction hours, prices, and availability change; we update as we learn but partners control the source data).
We are not responsible for the actual experience provided by partner businesses. If an attraction or restaurant disappoints, we will help you contact the partner and may assist with refunds where the partner’s policy allows, but the partner is the contracting party for the actual service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law (e.g. for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of third-party rights.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, sections that should survive (limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) remain in effect.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Baguio City, Philippines.

13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date and, when warranted, an in-product notification. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
