Wood Nymph is the pioneer Korean restaurant in the City of Pines — Baguio's first and longest-running — with its original branch on Military Cutoff Road (run by "Sir Eric"). It is a favorite of the city's Korean residents for authentic, traditional fare that goes well beyond grilled meat. The draw is an unlimited Korean BBQ buffet — ₱499 adult, ₱299 children, free for kids 90 cm and under, minimum two persons, with a ₱499 no-leftovers penalty — covering beef brisket, pork chops, pork belly, seasoned pork ribs and chicken thigh, plus self-serve sides (japchae, champong soup, kimbap, tangsuyuk, tteokbokki). Beyond the buffet, the à la carte is affordable and deep: grill-at-table samgyeopsal, sobulgogi, dwaeji galbi and boneless galbisal, rice toppings and dolsot bibimbap, hotpots from gamjatang and budae jjigae to seafood haemultang and even goat-soup yeomsotang, ginseng-chicken samgyetang, sweet-and-sour tangsuyuk, iron-plate cheolpan bokum, and family sets for four. The space leans into Hallyu fun — hanbok dress-up, K-pop idol standees and Korean tourist-spot backdrops for selfies — dessert is Bingsu, and there is soju, rice wine and beer.
