Claim this listingOpened in 2022 by Richard Valencia, Valencia's Restaurant is a family-run "contemporary family-style restaurant, bakery and bar" set in a converted house along Outlook Drive — living room, dining room and veranda intact — near The Mansion and Wright Park, with a scenic pine-tree view. The owner, raised in Bulacan, comes from a family that runs a rice-mill business, which shapes the menu: rice is highlighted throughout, and the signature drink is Valencia's Rice Coffee ("Pinoy Coffee"), brewed from grains milled by the family. The kitchen does Spanish-Filipino-Italian comfort food inspired by the Filipino Sunday lunch — its centerpiece is paella (it bills itself the "House of Paella"): the veg Paella Ala Benguet (its most-ordered), Paella Valenciana (shrimp, chicken, chorizo de bilbao), Paella Negra, Paella De Marisco and Paella E'Porchetta. Other favorites include callos, beef ribs caldereta, crispy pata, bangus ala pobre, sweet and sour lapu-lapu, USDA-grade steaks, lasagna al forno, carbonara with bagnet and pasta ala valenciana, plus starters like gabi (taro) chips, watermelon and pepper-steak salads, and churros with tablea. A comforting, festive family destination.
