Patch Cafe is the in-house restaurant of Bloomfield Hotel, on the ground floor at 3 Leonard Wood Road — central, yet a short walk from Session Road and SM City Baguio. It opened in November 2014 in the space of the former Cafe Sorelle (and is named after its owner), redecorating the hotel lobby to match its colorful, artsy interior. The concept stitches together patches of modern and old Baguio: eclectic decor, bright chairs, and murals depicting old city scenes, for a playful, cozy ambiance. The kitchen does all-day breakfast and comfort food — Filipino breakfast plates, rice bowls, pasta, the café's thin-crust Skinny Pizzas, sandwiches and burgers, salads and wings — plus a strong line of pastries, cupcakes and coffee, with most items priced around ₱110–250. The pastries are made by an in-house baker that regulars single out for praise. Signatures people return for include the Mountain Pizza, Grilled Cheese Carbonara, the affordable rice bowls and Miner's Breakfast, the matcha latte and the cupcakes. It's a well-known spot for students and digital nomads thanks to fast Wi-Fi, power outlets and comfortable seating, and reviewers consistently praise the relaxing ambiance and reasonable prices (the rice bowls in particular). Practical notes: tables sit close together so it can get noisy when full, water isn't served unless asked, and parking is limited at peak — but for a laid-back, Instagram-friendly café near the city center, it's a reliable pick.
