L'Atelier Du Grain's Leonard Wood Road branch brings the celebrated French boulangerie-patisserie (helmed by veteran French chef Didier) to The Marketplace — the upscale supermarket by Rustan Supercenters / Robinsons Retail (its first North Luzon branch, opened 2018), known for imported deli meats, cheeses, wine and spirits, and gourmet groceries — on the Ground Floor of the ETCC Building / Leonard Wood Terraces on Leonard Wood Road, near the Teacher's Camp / General Luna area. Because it operates at The Marketplace, this outlet is sometimes called the "Marketplace, Leonard Wood" branch. It carries the brand's from-scratch, small-batch pastry lineup — flaky, properly buttery butter croissants laminated with Charentes-Poitou butter, almond croissants (a reviewer favorite here), pain au chocolat, the much-loved kouign-amann, madeleines, and a rotating case of tarts and cheesecakes (the strawberry-white-chocolate cheesecake tart is the runaway favorite — also walnut-honey, lemon meringue, mango, ube, and the local-flavor Benguet Cappuccino tart) — plus sourdough, focaccia, baguettes, banana bread, and a selection of savories. Reviews describe it as a takeaway place for French pastries and savories that is "local but great quality, true to type" and a good detour for a quick fix — a smaller, newer outlet than the Military Cut-Off flagship, which keeps the widest selection. As with all L'Atelier branches the verdict skews strongly positive, with pastries judged on par with the best in Manila. It stays open slightly later than the flagship and Kisad branches (to 9 PM, matching The Marketplace's hours). Other branches: the Military Cut-Off flagship, the Kisad shop, and a Cariño cor. Abanao Ext. outlet.
