That Raisin Bread is the shop's claim to national fame: soft, moist, and studded with raisins, with a cult following and the non-negotiable pasalubong for anyone who can get to it (so coveted that BCC now ships it to Manila and sells it through SM counters). The club functions as a hotel and events venue too (rooms, weddings, corporate sessions, golf), so access is not strictly members-only — staying guests, event attendees, and members' guests all reach the shop, though it sits inside the private grounds rather than on the open street. The raisin bread, banana cake, chocolates, and coffee are the enduring reasons to come.
