Hatch Coffee — Gen. Luna is the newer, more central second location of the cult-favorite Hatch Coffee, on the second floor of the Global Multispecialty Diagnostic Center on Lower Gen. Luna Road, just a short walk from Session Road and SM City Baguio. Where the Easter Road original is a sprawling garden hideaway, this branch is a smaller, cozy indoor café built for focus — comfortable and quiet, with WiFi and plenty of power sockets, making it a favorite for studying and getting work done (and it is pet-friendly, with dogs welcome inside). It serves the full Hatch coffee program — single-origin pour-overs, espresso drinks, and the signature iced creations (Dirty Horchata, the now-even-better Dirty Oat Horchata, the pinipig-topped Shakerato) — and the famous grilled-cheese sandwiches (the classic with honey dip, the cult Ube Grilled Cheese). Crucially for regulars, this branch carries the rice bowls the main branch retired — the much-praised Bistek rice bowl and rotating rice specials — plus newer treats like the Banana Parfait. The staff are widely praised as warm and accommodating, and the café rates exceptionally well. Honest notes: the space is limited compared to the garden flagship, it adds an 8% service charge, and the kitchen still rotates specials, so the day's offerings can vary. Hatch also runs a third outlet — Hatch Express, a 24/7 grab-and-go drinks counter inside the StopShop at the Caltex Kisad-BGH rotunda. For a central, productive coffee stop with Hatch's quality, this is the easier branch to reach.
