Claim this listingCafé Sabel is the in-house café-restaurant of the BenCab Museum on Asin Road in Tadiangan, Tuba — a 15–30 minute drive from central Baguio (or an Asin-bound jeepney from the terminal near the city market) — named after Sabel, the iconic muse in National Artist Benedicto Cabrera's paintings. You enter the museum at street level and descend through the galleries to the Farm & Garden level, where the café's indoor seating and al fresco terrace look out over one of the most beautiful café settings in the country: a duck pond, flower and vegetable gardens, the museum's own organic farm, a mini-forest, an aviary, and the forested Cordillera mountains beyond, often wrapped in fog. The kitchen — run in-house, with dishes including BenCab's own recipes — cooks farm-to-table Filipino comfort food: bagnet rice and bagnet pasta, Pancit Sabel, homemade longganisa, whole fried itik (native duck), beef bulalo and pares, smoky baby back ribs, paninis and Sabel's burger, and farm-fresh salads, alongside soups like carrot-pumpkin and sweet potato-leek and all-day breakfast plates. Signature sips include BenCab's Brew (coffee from the farm), real hot tsokolate, herb teas from the garden (lemongrass, mint, tarragon), honey-ginger lemonade, and fresh guyabano, melon, banana, and Benguet-strawberry shakes, with suman sa latik, turon à la mode, and tiramisu for dessert — house jams, marmalades, native chocolate, and atchara are sold to take home. Museum admission is required to dine (₱200 general, ₱150 senior/PWD, ₱120 student, free for kids under 42"), with guided museum tours four times daily and an EcoTrail tour through the farm and forest (₱200 + ₱150 guide fee per group). Drinks aren't served in take-out cups, so bring a tumbler. It can fill up between 12 and 2 PM on weekends — and the setting is unanimously loved. Open museum hours, Tuesday to Sunday, 9 AM–6 PM — closed Mondays, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
