Fortune (Hongkong) Seafood Restaurant is a Baguio institution for Chinese food — a spacious downtown restaurant on Otek Street, near Burnham Park and Session Road, serving authentic Cantonese and Hong Kong-style cuisine since 1996. It's the Baguio outpost of a Luzon-wide Cantonese seafood chain (with branches in Subic, Tarlac, Angeles, and Balanga), and a long-standing go-to for families and groups thanks to its big round tables, fast, accommodating service, and famously generous portions — even a "small" serving is good for three to four people, so sharing is the way to go (order fewer dishes than you think). There are two menus, the Chef's Recommendations and the regular à la carte, plus value set menus (Set A and Set B) that walk a table through soup, chicken, lumpia, patatim, fish, Yang Chow fried rice, and dessert. Standouts that regulars return for include baked crabs in ginger and onion, steamed fish, roast duck, Thai chili shrimp, sweet-and-sour pork, broccoli beef, cold-cut platters, spinach soup, and the dim sum — finished with the signature Snowballs, crisp fried sesame balls filled with mango. The space is classy with large windows, it's pet-friendly with a dedicated pet room, restrooms are clean, parking is easy, and it's wheelchair accessible. It's on the pricier side for Baguio but widely considered worth it for the quality and quantity, and takeout and delivery are available.
