Amare La Cucina ("to love the kitchen") is a family-owned Italian restaurant founded in Baguio in 2013 by Edmark Bustos, now one of the city's most popular dining destinations with branches across the Philippines. In late 2023 its Baguio flagship moved from the Albergo Hotel near Wright Park to a spot along Outlook Drive in the Mira Montes area — the former home of late Vice President Fernando Lopez. The space opens with a reception area and host, a Monte Gelati gelato bar and pasalubong corner, a beverage bar, a main dining hall with several private rooms, and an al-fresco section that welcomes pets and the cool Baguio breeze. The kitchen is built around a traditional wood-fired brick oven producing signature Neapolitan pizzas, alongside handmade pastas, wood-fired ribs and steaks, salads, antipasti, gelato, cakes, and a curated wine and craft-beer list. It's known for inventive local creations like Baguio's Ube Pizza and Strawberry pizzas, generous shareable portions, warm service, and garden terrace seating overlooking the pines — ideal for families, dates, and special occasions.
