Baguio Botanical Garden — also called the Igorot Village and, historically, Centennial Park (and once Imelda Park, when it was a zoo) — is a landscaped garden-park on Leonard Wood Road between Wright Park and Teacher's Camp. Closed in 2021 and reopened in March 2022, it blends nature, culture, and a little history in one easy walk. Inside you'll find sections of indigenous and exotic plants, themed flower gardens (Rose Garden, orchidarium, Dahlia, sunflowers), Cordillera-inspired cultural displays, international friendship gardens, and a WWII-era Japanese tunnel. Traditional Igorot huts are scattered through the grounds, and elderly locals in Cordilleran attire greet visitors and pose for photos — you can rent costumes for your own. It draws large numbers of tourists and local parkgoers year-round, yet still offers shaded benches and quiet corners to slow down in. Tourist entry is ₱100, less for children and residents.
