Bahong Flower Gardens (Rose & Sunflower Farms)

Best time to visit

The sunflowers are seasonal bloomers — check the farm Facebook page for bloom updates before heading out. Come on a weekday morning to beat the weekend and holiday crowds. The wider rose-growing barangay is a pleasant stroll year round.

What to bring

Cash for entrance and for any plants or cut flowers you take home — the farm does not take cards. Sun protection for the open flower fields, a light jacket for the cool mountain air, comfortable shoes for the garden paths, and a camera for the photo spots.

Getting there

From Baguio City, ride any La Trinidad jeepney bound for Tomay or Cruz and ask the driver to drop you at the Bahong or Alapang junction — about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. From the junction, local garage vehicles make the short run up to the farm. The farm sits a short drive off Halsema Highway in Barangay Bahong, around 30 to 40 minutes from Baguio in all.
