Bahong, La Trinidad is known as the "Rose Capital of the Philippines," a barangay of cut-flower and rose farms set in the mountains a short drive off Halsema Highway. Its best-known visitor attraction is the Bahong Sunflower Farm (the "8,000 Sunflowers"), which opened in 2021 and features sunflowers imported from Japan and Taiwan plus poinsettia, begonia, gumamela, and daisies. Much of the wider rose-growing area is residential/working farmland where visitors stroll the roads and buy plants, while the ticketed sunflower farm offers a walkable photo-oriented garden experience.
