Abanao Square is a five-storey shopping mall in the central business district of Baguio City, on Abanao Street — a long-established commercial street the mall takes its name from. It opened in the early 2000s and has grown into a practical, budget-friendly downtown stop rather than a tourist destination in its own right. Inside are a ground-floor supermarket, a National Book Store, a food court and fast-food outlets, plus fashion, electronics, jewelry, and specialty shops, banks, pharmacies, and a customer service desk on the fifth floor. A BPI branch on the first floor handles cash withdrawals, and escalators run between floors. It sits in the thick of downtown — about 300 m east of Baguio City Hall and 490 m west of Baguio Cathedral — within easy walking distance of Burnham Park and Session Road, and close to jeepney stations. The mall is managed by Pacific Land. For visitors, it's most useful as a central spot to grab essentials, find cheap souvenirs, or stay dry during a sudden Baguio downpour.

Usually busy at these times — based on typical patterns, not live crowd data.
Weekday mornings and early afternoons are calmest; weekends and holidays get crowded. A handy spot to duck into if a downtown afternoon turns rainy.
Cash for the smaller stalls, a reusable bag for purchases, a light jacket, and comfortable shoes (some upper floors are reached by escalator/stairs).
Central downtown, at the corner of Abanao and Zandueta Streets — walkable from Burnham Park and Session Road, and close to jeepney stations serving many barangays. Paid basement/adjacent parking if driving.
Mall hours are roughly 10 AM–9 PM (some map listings show 9 AM–8 PM); individual store hours vary. Parking is paid, for cars and motorcycles. Access to upper floors is by escalator/stairs — limited mobility may be a challenge (no confirmed elevator).
